My Name is Mary Hunter. Technology is all-amazing to me! I grew up in a time when cable television was the latest and greatest in technology. To me, to be able to use my laptop even when it is not plugged in to a cable or a power source and get connected to friends and family on Facebook or see the ball drop live in Times Square on New Year's Eve or to access my courses, tests, videos, and grades on Laulima, well, it's amazing to me. Even to hook my laptop up to the printer to print any documents or pictures or maps or whatever is pretty cool. Even my smart phone is smarter than I am, not really! I don't want to be one of those I-phone fiends whose nose is always in their phone, and Siri, frankly, really scares me. I love technology, but I still want to be connected to the world around me, and to be able to disconnect from the electronics. As far as my strengths for working in a group, I am a diligent worker and practically anal about getting things done on time. Having come late to my college career, I feel very blessed and determined to "do this right".
